A health coach is a guide who helps clients set health goals. The goals can have a broad variety. From losing weight, to gain more energy, sleep better, become more stress resilient to improve digestive issues and many more. Everybody is unique and so are health goals. What works for one person, doesn’t necessarily work for another.
In addition, health coaches are accountability partners that keep clients focused and be there to support clients along their journey of transformation to a healthier and happier version of themselves.

Health coaches provide a holistic perspective on health by not just focusing on food and exercise but by looking at all areas of life such as career, social life, relationships, creativity and self care. This approach is what sets health coaches apart from other wellness experts.

By learning how to listen to your body, health coaches provide a safe space for clients to explore what makes them feel great and what makes them feel depleted. Clients receive the tools and skills to learn what works best for them and how they can take their own health to the next level.

The best time to look at health is before anything is ‘off’. The absence of health symptoms does not equal optimal and vibrant health. A health coach can help you on your path to well-being. If you neglected to make health your priority and are in need of a big change or you feel relatively healthy and need guidance in setting goals and building long-term healthy habits. A health coach looks at health as the vehicle for the client to reach his/hers personal and life goals by optimising performance, productivity and overall contentment. By looking at food and exercise but also at career, spirituality, relationships, social life and stress management.

The six month program is carefully designed to set you up for long-term success. In the window of six months all sorts of events take place: vacations, weddings, family visits, crises small or large, birthdays, events etc etc. The six months offer you the opportunity to live through different situations, to fall, to learn to adjust and to restart again. You’ll learn how to be prepared for future events and have that toolkit ready to navigate through them. Remember it took you till now to get here. To ‘undo’ habits does not happen overnight. It is a process. But one that will be beneficial from the get-go and lasts a life time.

This program is not a diet. It is a lifestyle that will teach you how you can nourish yourself. Both with food as in areas of your life like selfcare, career, social life and relationships. The program will offer you insights in what will make you feel vibrant and what leaves you depleted. It is the beginning of a whole new journey to feeling better and happier.

The program will bring focus on your health goals and helps with time management to get you there. Menu planning, shopping and cooking will be a part of the total program. We work from wherever you are right now.

If knowledge was the answer to our sick, overweight and chronically ill society. We would not have to deal with these ailments.
Working with a health coach is about implementing all the insights and knowledge into your life and developing a strategy to integrate it in a sustainable way and having an accountability partner that works with you towards your goals. Guiding you and offering skills and tools to get you there.

Yes. I coach online as well as in person. However it suits your personal situation and schedule.

Yes. I coach both in Dutch and English.

I coach children from 12 and up. Parental approval is required.
You can join the program with any diet choice you have. You only need an open mind towards vegan food. That having said, I am a strong believer and advocate of the plant-based lifestyle and hence all recipes and food suggestions I provide are plant-based.
